Every family misses a lesson eventually, a sick child, a work trip, a wedding, and what happens next says more about a school than almost anything on its website. Some schools simply keep the payment and move on. Others quietly punish a family for asking. Neither is generous, and neither should be treated as normal.
The plain version, at Airim ELC, is this: tell Airim in advance, and the lesson gets a makeup rather than being written off. No advance notice, and the lesson is treated as taken, the same way any teacher's time cannot be un-spent once the slot has passed with nobody in the room.

What a family should ask before paying anywhere, here or elsewhere, is simple: what exactly counts as advance notice, and what happens without it. A school that cannot answer that plainly, in a sentence, probably does not have a real policy, just a case-by-case mood that depends on who answers the message that day.
A missed-lesson policy is also where a center's honesty about its own limits shows. A school this small cannot promise unlimited flexible rescheduling the way a large staff might, and saying that clearly up front is more useful to a family than a generous-sounding promise that turns out not to be kept when the calendar actually fills up.
